The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.
SASSA will be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency reported it's alarmed with regards to the large number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The service level designed for intervention activities a substantial influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
